Funny isn't it - some days there's lots of postings here and other days there's zilch.
I've had a dose of heavy jet warbird activity today. The good lady wanted a shopping trip to York so, as you do, I negotiated a trip to Elvington. Nothing on I thought, just an opportunity to see progress on the new Halifax tailplane and to see the new Dak.
Just got there and suddenly heavy duty jet noise. Wandered over to the source of the noise - fast taxies up and down the runway for both the Victor tanker and one of the Buccs.
Makes all the difference when things are live doesn't it - especially when you didn't even know it was happening.
