Would these be the 10 (?) Spitfire F22s sold to the Syrians c1955 by UK, and allegedly derelict at Damascus airport in the 1960s?
I've only been doing thsi site for a couple of months, and haven't previously seen any mention of them: it was my intention to post about them very soon as a wind-up.
So, within the bounds of post-60s common knowledge, can anyone please give me an update since then ?
