Nice job they've made of it as well, but....

I'm not complaining because they can do as they please with their own property but I've always wanted to see a Corsair in the early FAA colours of Dark Sea Grey and Dark Sea green, like the TFC Wildcat and Shuttleworth's Hurricane, so with the OFMC Corsair being the only clipped-wing "Commonwealth" Corsair flying it could have been a good opportunity.....hope for the next re-paint though I'm sure.

I like it very much that the likes of OFMC, ARCO and BBMF re-paint their aircraft in different colours now and then, it really puts them back in the public eye, as is proved right now because we are talking about OFMC's Corsair again just like we did before with their repainted P40, and as we will when the P51 appears as Ferocious Frankie.

If I had a warbird I'd be re-painting it every month (!)because there are just so many wonderful schemes out there that need to be replicated, I couldn't wait ten years or more like some owners do, no way !
BTW, how much does it cost for a good paint-job nowadays, and I don't mean one of those "private jet in a private jet showroom" quality jobs that take weeks to paint and sand and paint and sand and paint and sand etc, but rather the true military quality like the OFMC and TFC do ?
