During the early to mid 1980's, the CAF re-enacted the Tora-Tora-Tora! attack with the participation of a B-17 (usually Texas Raiders) and made a one wheel "touch and go" on the runway.
Safety considerations dictated later on, that this practice would be discontinued. The 17 still flies the show if it is available, but now the touch and go is a two wheeler.
