I know of the Corsair at Midway that is presumed to be BuNo.02326, ditched by Lt. Other F. Smith off the coast of Midway in 1943.
I wouldn't be suprised if there were more than just the one Corsair ditched in that area. Loss records show a few more going down in that region during the war. Always on the lookout for more finds :)
