P-40 into LAke in N Africa

Just trying to track down any info on a P-40 (Tomahawk IIB) shot down and belly landed into a lake 10miles NE of Bengahzi.
Can anyone please help with details of this one, aircraft from 4SAAF Sqdn, Pilot was Capt? Bosman swam to shore, Date was 15/1/42
