warplane found in Phillipines

I heard on the news yesterday morning that a WWII plane was just found in deep jungle by our troops who are searching for terrorists over in the Phillipines. They did not show any film or pictures, nor did they identify aircraft type, but did say it went down in 1942 or 1943, and that the three crewmembers' remains were still in the airplane. Maybe an Avenger? Anyone else hear anything?
