Wasn't the tales of Napier Sabre reliability problems down to the early Tiffy operations in the dusty Normandy forward op. airstrips, and that it was later cured by fittment of different filters. I didn't think there was much evidence of problems with the installation in the Tempest V???
But then again, operating one today ........ hmmnnnnn?
