Cees, I checked the recovery list on the NFLA site, and can't find any reference to this aircraft. Was it recovered post war, or recovered since?

Halifax LL293* A-?P? for Peter of No. 298 Squadron piloted by Canadian Flying Officer Bill Taylor went missing while on an SOE arms drop codenamed ?Rummy 6? to the Emmen area of the Netherlands: precise location, a field near Borger in north-east Holland. The bomber was hit by flak near Hoorn, Holland, around 2 am on Sunday October 15th, 1944, while it was en route to the target. ?P? for Peter with Flying Officer Taylor at the controls made an emergency landing on the Ijsselmeer near Stavoren, Holland.
