Depth 10-11 meters.
The wreckage lies among rocks which makes it difficult to differentiate actual wreckage from the rocks on the sonar.
The Lancaster is spread over a large area and the largest pieces, according to the sonar, is approximately 0.5 meter.
The bottom is a mix of sand and rocks. Visibility is predominantly good, with a rich wildlife. The location is suitable for UV photography.
The wreckage is in many pieces and it may be difficult to tell what?s what.
The aircraft attempted an emergency landing at Tun?.
