Greetings all,
Between too much travel and too many viruses I've been somewhat out of touch of late, the quicksand of the festive season seeming to stick forever. I guess you get that, but it seems to have been worse this year.
Never mind. I'm trying to contact Jeremy Flack, esteemed UK based photographer of many things but especially Spitfires. If anyone can assist it would be hugely appreciated. Of line might be appropriate as I don't know Jeremy as yet.
Different subject. Visited with Garth Hogan and Wal Denholm at Pioneer/AVspecs facilities, Auckland, New Zealand a couple of days ago. The rush is on to complete Tony Banta's P-40E and Ray Hanna's LA-9 in time for Easter. It will be a close run thing, however the folks there are seriously dedicated, the workmanship utterly stunning and I think at least one of these aircraft will make Wanaka. Also well underway is Jerry Yagen's P-40E, scheduled for the end of this year. Thought everyone would want to know that good things are quietly happening in this equally quiet corner of the planet.
Cheers for now,
GMO
