This might just be Vickers Viking G-AIVE of BEA
crashed 21/4/48 at Irish Law on Beam Approach to Renfrew

The picture on page 33 of High Ground Wrecks and Relics Midland Counties Aviation Pocket Guide No 5 seems awfully similar - just from a different angle.

No doubt I'll be proved wrong
