I'm informed that most of the current flyable number of Hurris use the HS prop, a la Dak. And looking at it I think that they are the same as the Mossie paddle blades you sometimes see. It would be one hell of a restoration to get another Lanc in the air. Don't tell me, you watched the C4 documentary the other night and you 'got inspired' like most of us when we see the old things up where they should be. What amazed me was the colour film of lancs at dispersal, does anyone know if this and any other RAF aircraft colour footage has ever wound up on vid?
(ever the hopeful) Tom ;)
