Somebody please correct me, if I'm wrong, but I haven't read anything new, about government regulations, or control. It takes so long for our country to implement change, that although the new anti-terror bill passed, and may contain legislation making airport security, a federal position, I doubt that it would be in effect yet. These idiots were hired by by the Airport, and should be fired immediately, but I doubt that they will be.
