At the w/end, I found my small collection of early W&Rs. I have 2nd edition (1963), 3rd (68), & 5th (76). The 2nd doesn't have any ref to B Bridge or Milnathort, therefore it seems to me that the 1st edn (61, BTW) won't either.
The Scrapyard Review section of the 3rd edition states -"Milnathort - Scottish aero Industries, Mill park, have in the past dealt with large quantities of naval scrap from Abbotsinch,BB (where they once had another dump), Donibristle and LM, but are not now active in this field." The 5th edn says "Milnathort - SAI still have a yard at the southern end of the town, but have not traded in substantial parts of aircraft for some time."
I have, somewhere, a small collection of Control Column mags. Think I now need to check them out for the pics I'm sure I've seen of wrecks at BB.
