Goodness, How this board shifts soooooo quickly!
As far as Halifaxes in hot sticky climates go, the only promising rumour we ever got was that there was still one of 12 Squadron's Halifaxes lying under cover on one of the Pakistan Airforces most Northerly bases. As we don't have access to this part of the world & would no doubt be unwelcome in the present climate, then we have never really followed this lead up.
All the one's in India seem to be accounted for & there ain't even a scrap of Halifax left, not even those difficult to recycle things like undercarriage legs, wheels & turret components.... Where the heck did all these bits end up then?
Hey, I don't mind being proved wrong though!
