I was born in Nottinghamshire just a few miles away from a place called Scarcliffe but had not heard of any aircraft being buried here - though the event was before my time.......
However, you never know - with a lot of coal mining going on in the area and quarrying there would have been no shortage of space for burials -- please keep me posted!
