Yes it was a shame aparently there is only a mainwheel washed up on shore to mark the site.
The I.d of the york is :
CF-HMX ex-MW167 purchased from RAF by Spartan Air Services . Ferried Prestwick 23.03.55. Sold to Arctic Wings 11.04.55 Written off landing at Hall Lake 12.05.55
