The Russians claim that most/many of Kozhedub's kills were made in that Lavochkin. But as you say, who knows for sure...
What about the preserved Finnish Messerschmitts and the Brewster? The Brewster fin preserved in Finland (together with a canopy and some other parts) have 38 kills on it. But, then we're not talkng about a whole aircraft...
