Couple of interesting articles
a) An article on Syrian T-6's..by Dr. David Nicolle.. Now he must have contacts in there higher command.. Prehaps we should ask him about Spitfires and T'6s as well!
b) Flying 'The Route'. Operations to deliver lend lease aircraft via the Alaska-Siberian Ferry Route.. 59 Aircraft lost of 8,057 delivered...
Other than Million Dollar Valley, I wonder what else is left.. Ther is a phot of a wrecked P-39 outside North Pole, Alaska.. And a picture of a P-39 down on a frozen lake.. I wonder if this is the one that some people are after..
There was abook written a couple of years ago about this.. can anybody supply a name, ISBN author etc..
