on Channel Filth (Sorry Five) in the UK.. Well when I say saw, I mean I flipped sides, whenever there was story line, and flipped back when there was flying..
OK.. A few questions
What was the 'Messerschmitt' 109 in the program.. It certainly was not a Buchon... And it was not in shot long enough for me to get an id.. Also, did not notice how 'roomy' the cockpit was... Not very Messerschmitt. It loked like a early Mustang..
Hold it. Answered my own question I thought it was a P-51A Mustang

Oh. Seeing Burt Rutan Ares (Agile-Response Effective Support) as the 'Me 263' was interesting..
I assume Planes of Fame, and I know Mr. Hinton did some of the flying..
See: http://us.imdb.com/Name?Hinton,+Steve
Wow 52 Films/TV programs and counting!!!!
And he flew the Spitfire!.. I take it this did not involve falling out of the aircraft while inverted, and holding on cockpit.. Nor shoting the a jet out of the sky using a pump action shotgun or whatever that was, or having a pony tail fitted!
Methinks the film put back the cause of warbirds by about 10 years.. what a stinker. and from John Glen the director who made at least 3 James Bonds as well..
