I don't believe the Nimrod had folding wings-certainly the Fury didn't on which the Nimrod was largely based. The problem concerning the Nimrod was that in certain sideslip
manouvers the carburettor was prone to cutting out. Thankfully the necessary mod drawing was found in the PUblic Records Office which sorted the problem.
