1. Obviously the Commemerative Air Force-for both depth and breadth...with over 140 flyable airplanes, they are the largest collection in the world.
2. Planes of Fame- lots of cool unique airplanes
3. Lone Star Flight Museum
4. Palm Springs Air Museum
5. Kermit's stuff. Most of it doesn't fly much, but he still has some great birds.
I we want to include collections that have flyable airplanes, but don't fly them, I would include.
Kalamazoo, Yanks Air Museum, and Champlin. My bet FHC will fall into this category sooner than later...
