Yellow 17 was flown from Fassberg to Lubeck by F/L R.C. Gosling of 616 Squadron. Clive was a B of B vet and later a Service test pilot with Supermarine. He's the pilot in all those photos of the Spit XII prototype DP845 in flight.
I've got three photos from him of Yellow 17 at the time.
Thought I saw some conjecture somewhere that the 262 at Cosford may have in fact been Yellow 17?
