colonies, I have never been turned away by a restoration shop, and I am joe nobody. I am a "lookyloo" as they like to call us...but I make it a point to ask permission to come in and poke around...take pictures and once in a while you get a pretty good tour. Elmer Ward once showed my father and I around the old Pioneer hangars at Chino...I fed his ferret...same with the Sanders shop, Fighter Rebuilders several times..once by JRS when Tsunami was coming together..Tom Rielly's shop...Stallion51...the list goes on...all of them friendly. I can name off a dozen shops I regularly peruse...it is great that they are generous in this way. I can understand insurance liabilities but most guys over hear do like to show thier handywork...and it is never a dissappointment.
