I was thinking more along the lines of building a structure around them and pumping out the inner area, like I saw some Americans doing to an old wooden ship off the coast of Texas, only on a smaller scale. Should be able to get some cheap labour out there to build it, you and I could put our feet up and watch while someone else does the work for once Mick!
