Even though there were quite a number of aces in the SoPac Theatre, it couldn't be too difficult to identify a 4-kill pilot with distinctive nose art on his aircraft. Any clue to his ID?

It's a crying shame the remains were consumed by the jungle. I suppose there's no chance of a crew making an effort ot locate it again. What a marvelous museum display that would have made!!!
