Museum most often don't list serials on their websites. The Planes of Fame in Chino and Tom Reilly's Flying Tigers Warbird Restoration Museum are examples of museums that I wish did provide such lists. It would go along way to ID'ing airframes where the museum has been up close and personal, but where the general public can't.
