I just wish Darby had made the trek out to Morotai, where many airframes were still intact and in rows, and the only thing obscuring them somewhat were vines. I don't recall Darby finding any real boneyards like Morotai for his book.
I still wish there was some way to find out if all airframes were taken to Java in 1988, or if just one of those A-20s or B-24s is still there. And if they were all scrapped in Java.
