If it had been a Texan or even a P-51 in similar condition I think it would have been parted out. The relative rarity of P-47's in comparison to other types means that almost any means short of manufacturing a new one would be viable.
Trying to find a replacement would be near impossible. Heck, look at those Razorbacks being rebuilt, if they were cars they would be cubes of aluminum by now.
