I'm far from being an expert but have a lot of interest in WWII V12 Piston engines and I would say it is not a Packard but rather a Rolls Royce built engine, by the look of the Supercharger mainly. Merlin XX maybe???
Just my 2 cents, i.e. not worth much ;-)
