Interesting even to hear mention of Harvard Is! The RCAF had a batch of these as well, but unlike some wartime RCAF types they fared poorly in the postwar surplus stakes. The last known RCAF Harvard I was 1331, which survived the war as a ground instructional airframe; if I recall correctly it was sold to a flying club in the Brantford (Ontario) area in about 1947 and later vanished...

Data plate idea is interesting though...amazing what could be done with an NA-49 data plate, a few smithereens of Wirraway airframe and a heap of cash...I have to think there are a few minor bits of Mk.I in Canada somewhere...
