Here's the latest on the Canso....having heard no bad news to the contrary, C-FNJF should be resting safely overnight in the Azores at this time, awaiting better weather in the UK.

I have just been advised that the one-time RCAF Canso A C-FNJF has finally left Canada, having departed St Johns Newfoundland earlier this afternoon. It is currently en route for the Azores and is likely to fly on tomorrow to one further intermediate stop in Europe before flying on to Coventry on Monday. The latter two parts of the delivery flight are of course subject to weather which at the present time in the UK is vile!
More news when I have it.
