Cees as far as I know the NZ projects are
1. Don and Mike Subritsky, who I haven't visited for approx 3 yrs but when I was last there their fuselage was up on its legs with cabane fitted and was from the front to the rear gunner's position. It already had heaps of nice detail in it anmd they were continuing the fabrication of the fuselage frame aftwards.
2. The former MoTaT project is now with the RNZAF Museum Wigram and they in turn have a deal with the Werribee Australia B24 project boys who are going to restore the centre sections etc in return for some parts for other projects (= oxford). I saw the Vincent/Vildebeest parts in the Werribee store on 3 visits I made there last year. However a couple of weeks ago I had a communication that 2/3 of the roof of the store (a 1942 hangar approx 35m by 35m) had collapsed and the contents were under approx 140tonnes of wood and asbestos roofing. The contamination means the guys have not been allowed into the site to investigate/recover. I've not seen this reported anywhere yet but my source is one of the heads of the organisation.
3. I've not heard of Charles Darby having any Vildebeest/Vincent stuff but he was active in MoTaT at the time they recovered the gear now at Wigram.
4. The location of the advertiser of these bits is credible as I have seen various bits in the Blenheim area including a farm trailer with sides made from wing struts.
Hope that's of interest
