Just how much of Mr. Beck's Mustang came off the mountain? I know that Spillers used a D wing, a modified D fuselage, used a brand new canopy still in its crate, and got all his cowlings from another source. (John Paul?) So, other than the manufacturers plate what else from the recovered wreckage was incorporated? Just my .02 cents, it is a beautiful airplane but not a P-51A.
