The aircraft in question is Mosquito KA984 (C/N 885). It was one of two Mossies acquired from the RCAF by Don McVicar, Intended for use in the 1948 Bendix Trophy race. I've read and interesting article by Norman Malayney abouth these aircraft and will be using some of the informatin to update the registry entries for these two aircraft (the other being KB377 C/N 1377).
