Thanks for the speedy reply, yes, very sad end to such a promising collector.
as an aside, did the construction of this aircraft while it did have an identity, push the limits? what established the identity? frame 5 bolted to a replica? or was it really that much of a reconstruction? were there rebuilt as opposed to reconstructed from new airframe sections?
The proliferation of projects these days just got me thinking about this one.
By the way, just how much of the airframe survives?
