I can see your point...

I don't condemn Karen's posting, that would just be too strong a reaction. Karen is a valued member of the WIX community, and I certainly hope she continues to post despite here statement.
All I suggest is that the topic on WIX remain on-topic, i.e. Warbirds. Off topic postings are very rare fortunately, but if you start to accept a few, then when does it become unacceptable? No point in wasting time to draw that line. Perhaps off supect topics in the future could be raised in forum provided by Scott, then a posting in the this forum could be made with a subject begining with "OT: Please See...". A link to the off subject topic could be included for simplicity/ease of use.
We also have to remember when writing and reading that this type of communication masks emotional and secondary communication that would otherwise be communcicated by body language or voice. I would suggest we all be prepared to give the benefit of the doubt to the other person and be prepared to ask for clarification. For example...
: I certainly don't agree!
I suppose I could reply with the question... To which point?
: I would hazard a guess that this board sees more
: traffic than does the "off-topic" board...
I agree, but as I suggest above lets keep Warbirds to WIX, and other subjects to the Off Topic board. If we all try to abide that way it is better so the occasional poster/readers that are just looking for Warbird subjects while using limited bandwidth dont have difficulty discerning the two subject types. It is much better for WIX that way in the long run as I will continue to promote WIX traffic and more participation which we all benefit from.
Sorry if this is getting long winded. I'll get of the soap box now.
Respectfully,
Mike
