Gentlemen,
Your Forum & its comments on ML417 have been brought to my attention.
Firstly, may I congratulate you on an outstanding choice of a/c picture to banner your Forum - EP120 & ML417. I am delighted to be associated with both. They have given me & others much pleasure & will continue to do so, wherever they are based. I am sure we can all appreciate that a Transatlantic exchange is valuable to we enthusiasts, wherever we are based & whatever our Nationalities. I have always tried to further that interchange & will continue to do so.
Secondly, may I compliment you on your Forum & its apparently lively exchanges.
Finally, for your information, ML417 is to be registered to "Chino Spitfire Ltd", so one can safely speculate where it might be based, for a while. I cannot entirely rule out that the aircraft may be seen again in Duxford.
As to TFC, it has the luxury & responsibilty of a MkV flier, a project, a MKIX project, a MKXIV flier & a XXII/XXIV project - surely it cannot be accused of abandoning the Spitfire, whilst refining its Collection?
