: Lee is correct. There are rules around age and time of an
: artifact in the country (and its heritage status) that det
: ermine if an artifact should remain in the country, if it
: should first be offered to a Canada organization or if it
: can be exported. The rule exists to stop the flow of Canad
: ian artifacts from the country.
:
: I think what Peter eluded to is the controlled goods progr
: am, export and import controls. This can stop something mi
: litary from being exported but in the case of a Boly cockp
: it, highly unlikely. The program is basically geared at go
: ods that can support military equipment that is still in u
: se or goods that may pose a threat to Canada and friendly
: nations. Even it for some strange reason it is seen as a c
: ontrolled good, it still can be exported if it meets the c
: ontrolled goods criteria for export and it is exported by
: some who is registered with the controlled goods program.

:
: To date, I've never had problems exporting. There are a fe
: w hoops to jump through but nothing too difficult. Just ma
: ke sure you dot all you i's and cross your t's and it shou
: ld be relatively painless.....until you pay the shipping!

: As for recoveries in Canada....that's another can of worms

: Good luck!
