Andrew--

Exactly; and the 2001 event was indeed the last one. The cancellation of future shows at Mt.Hope coincidentally came right after 9/11 but the decision had been taken earlier. I feel fairly safe in saying there will never be another fullscale airshow at Munro Airport (Mt.Hope), sane insurance rates or no; recent partial pullout by WestJet notwithstanding, a full show is too disruptive at what has become quite an active cargo/passenger facility. (BTW, the week after WestJet stops flying Mt.Hope-Ottawa/Montreal, east coast based CanJet is stepping in to fly the same routes; that item broke this morning).
The Museum CWHM has put on a smalle

I expect the Soar With Legends event will indeed happen again; wouldn't think it would be on the ICAS or other airshow listings as it isn't really an airshow, being more in the line of the old open-house events CWH used to host in the 70s and 80s. Probably best to check the CWH website itself.
BTW the past couple years by far the best opportunity to see the CWH fleet out in the open has been an annual event at Brantford, Ontario, on the last Wednesday afternoon in August. Part of the Brant region United Way campaign kickoff, the airshow also usually includes the Snowbirds and the past two years has also featured the West Coast demo CF-18 Hornet. And CWH's entire current fleet has been there as well, with the Lanc, Canso, B-25 and Firefly flying.
Cheers
