The free exchange of warbirds is the reason we do see so many different airplanes here in Europe, and the world in general. I don?t belive anyone want a change of that! I can understand TFC?s decision to let ML417 go as they have another IX on their hand, and with so many IX?s in Europe it may be necessary to let one go to see some new Marks (22!) fly! How many planes of thesame type can support their living in the current airshow enviroment? And that can mean everything to the guy footing the bill! I haven?t got a clue as to how much "dineros" Stephen Gray has got, but if the departure of this Spit will enable another, yet unseen version to take to the skies, so be it. I trust ML417 will be well taken care of in the U. S. and that is what matters, isn?t it? Better yet, with all the Mustangs over here we should let a Spit go without tearing our hair out, shouldn?t we?
