No, I think the piccie is genuine Paul.
The photo credit, belongs to a guy, whose father flew the C-130 for the IIAF, and who is himself, an accredited historian of the IIAF. I suggested Doshan(Iran International), because that's where the Hurricanes were based, and because i can't see the Shah travelling miles, to fly his personal mount! The interesting thing to me, is was this the last Hurricane active in an Air Force anywhere? It's a shame I can't ID the cars, but my feeling, is anywhere between 1955-1960
