C-130 Carrier Landing

Hi All,

Just got done watching a new video I got from Traditions Military Videos. This video was on carrier crash great stuff but what was real eye opener was the C-13o Landings.

I know we talked about this some time back,this shows all six "TRAPS" plus the five wave offs. Its rather interesting that after each trap they do either a short field take off or us the whole deck. In one of the traps the pilots applie the brakes alittle to hard and the nose comes a good foot off the deck.

Question does anyone know if this C-130 was saved. The Tail code was 9789 with VR-1 it looks to be either a early E model.
