I read that it's just been announced on CTV.Newsnet that Jan Zurakowski, the original test pilot of inter alia, the MB5 and subsequntly the Avro CF-105 Arrow, has passed away due to a blood disease related to leukemia.
The picture of him low and fast in the MB5 with the canopy wound back is one of those iconic aviation images for me and is a fitting tribute to a fine pilot.
