It's my opinion that Jim Pierce has so far earned himself a fairly substantial place in the annals of warbird history. I suppose the ongoing efforts with his various sources in the ex-USSR preclude the chance of his story being told in full at this time, but I'm seriously hoping for an in depth autobiography of sorts covering the man, his inspiration, his efforts, and his methods(!) for accumulating so many ultra rare warbirds from these areas.
