Haven't seen the photo, but Dave Tallichet's Corsair used to sit in the grass behind his hangar in Chino. I know because I removed the ailerons to put them on the Air Museum's Corsair (borrowed while the Air Museum was getting new ailerons made).
As an interesting aside, Steve Hinton was flying the Air Museum's Corsair with these ailerons and one of the balance weights fell off and jammed the controls so that they would only bank primarily in one direction. Last time those ailerons flew on an airplane!
