I don't know. A couple of times it's been hinted that someone may be looking for it, but I've never seen anything to confirm that.

Would be nice to see a 4th FG P51B combat vet preserved though wouldn't it?

It's been my wishful thinking recovery since I read about it back in the mid 70s as a teenager.
