Missing collection?

Has anyone ever heard of the Laurie Fletcher Collection? It was listed in the 1982 list of engines compiled by the Smithsonian. Non-one seems to know anything about this colelction. I had been told that Laurie Fletcher has passed away and that the collection is in 'limbo'. Where was Laurie Fletcher from? Does anyone know the extent of the collection? What has/is happening to it? Would appreciate any contacts and/or leads to find out some mroe information.
