I haven't seent he article to which you refer, but Bean has been dead for quite a while. When was he supposed to have had the P-61 referred to? Was Bean purported to have had more than one P-61? The one that Yanks' parts came from was scrapped because of corrosion. Also, a P-61 is a difficult airplane to hide because of its size, even disassembled. Naturally I hope you can prove me wrong!

If you find any solid leads let me know. I'm "only" about 3-1/2 hours away...
